A guarantee written to be enforced, not admired.
The ghostwriting industry is full of "100% money-back guarantees" that evaporate when someone tries to use them — it's one of the most common complaints in public records. So we did the opposite of writing a slogan: specific commitments at specific milestones, every one of them in your contract.
What protects you at every stage?
14-day full refund — no questions asked
Change your mind within 14 days of purchase, before any work has begun on your manuscript? Full refund of your deposit. No reason needed, no cancellation fees, no administrative charges. Email us with the subject line "Cancellation Request" and it's done.
If the first chapter doesn't sound like you, we rewrite it free until it does
Your writer studies your voice — vocabulary, rhythm, tone — and delivers a first chapter for your approval before the full manuscript is written. This is the clause that makes bait-and-switch impossible: you hear your actual writer's work, on your actual book, before committing further.
You approve each chapter, with two full revision rounds included
Round one after the voice sample — direction and tone. Round two after full manuscript delivery — final changes. Need more? A fair hourly rate ($65/£50), agreed before the work, never sprung on the invoice.
If we're late through our own fault, your invoice shrinks
We agree a timeline before work begins, and it goes in your contract. Miss it by a week through our fault: 10% off the final invoice. Two weeks: 20%. Three or more: 30%, the maximum. Delays caused by late feedback or mid-project scope changes on your side don't count against us — that's defined too, because vague guarantees protect nobody.
Defined partial-refund terms — not a negotiation from zero
If after two revision rounds we can't reach agreement, we work with you to make it right. In the rare case we can't, your contract defines partial-refund terms based on completed work — you're never arguing against a blank page of fine print.
The transparency guarantee
Never charged extra
Revisions (first two rounds), communication and meetings, file delivery (Word, PDF, EPUB), customer support and project management. All included, always.
When extra fees can apply
Only if you significantly change the scope — doubling the word count, adding services you didn't order. In every such case the fee is agreed in writing before we proceed. No work happens on an unagreed price.
Why we do this
Surprise mid-project upsells are among the most complained-about practices in this industry's public records. Our contract makes them structurally impossible.

How do I actually claim the 14-day refund?
Email us with the subject line "Cancellation Request — [Your Name]". That's the whole process. Refunds go to your original payment method.
What counts as "work has started"?
Any of: your outline delivered, interviews conducted, or writing begun. We tell you explicitly when work is about to start — you'll never discover it after the fact.
Is this actually in the contract, or just on this page?
In the contract. Every protection on this page appears in your plain-English agreement, signed before any payment milestone. A guarantee that lives only on a marketing page is a slogan, not a guarantee.
What about refunds after 14 days if no work has started?
Talk to us — if writing genuinely hasn't begun, we'll treat you fairly; the 14-day line exists so both sides have certainty, not as a trapdoor. Standard terms live in our cancellation policy.
