service 04 · publishing · your accounts, your royalties

eBook publishing services: every major store — through accounts you own.

We handle the technical gauntlet of Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Google Play and Kobo — formatting checks, metadata, categories, pricing setup — through your own author accounts. Royalties flow from the stores directly to you. We never touch them, never take a cut, never hold your book hostage.

The distinction

Publishing service — not a "publisher"

This matters: vanity publishers take your money and your rights. We're neither. You pay a fixed fee for the work of publishing; the accounts, the book, the royalties and every decision stay yours. If a company ever asks you to publish through their accounts — walk away. (That's free advice whether you hire us or not.)

What we set up

Author accounts on each store (if you don't have them), tax interview guidance, pricing configuration per market, and pre-orders where wanted.

What we optimise

Title and subtitle metadata, book description, category selection, and store keywords — written for discoverability, not just filled in.

What we hand over

Live listings on every store, all source files, a one-page guide to updating your book yourself, and your login details exactly where they always were — with you.

Questions

Asked and answered

Which platforms do you publish to?

Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Google Play Books and Kobo Writing Life — the four stores covering the overwhelming majority of global eBook sales. Print-on-demand paperback via KDP included where wanted.

Who owns the accounts and collects the royalties?

You do — always. We publish through your author accounts (helping you set them up if needed), so royalties flow directly from each store to you. We never take a percentage and never hold your accounts.

What is metadata optimisation?

The title, subtitle, description, categories and keywords that determine whether store search surfaces your book. We write and configure them for discoverability — the difference between existing in a store and being found in one.

Do I need an ISBN?

For eBooks on the major stores, no — each assigns its own identifier. For print editions an ISBN helps; we advise on when it's worth buying and handle registration with you.
